Srinagar, April 09 (KNO) : A minor girl (name withheld) had been kidnapped by one accused Mohd Afzal Beigh son of Gull Beigh resident of Rayil Khour on 08/04/2018 and accordingly a case FIR No. 09/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered in Police Station Gund A special team headed by SDPO Kangan Shah Umar, SHO PS Gund SI Syed Arif was constituted on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone and a manhunt was launched to nab the culprit.
Search was carried out by the team to recover the kidnapped girl. Finally Police succeeded to recover the minor girl and arrested the accused abductor today on 09/04/2018. The girl was handed over to her parents and the accused is now behind the bars. The General public of the Gund area appreciated the prompt and swift action of Ganderbal Police.(KNO)
